Autodesk AutoCAD is a computer-aided drafting (CAD) and drafting software application developed and marketed by Autodesk. In early 1982, Autodesk released AutoCAD as a desktop app running on microcomputers with internal graphics controllers (a.k.a. personal computers or PCs).
